For RE Connect Users
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the RE Connect web and mobile application (collectively referred to as ” RE Connect”), developed and operated by KPT Recycle Sdn. Bhd. By registering for or using RE Connect, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
Accounts and Passwords
To access RE Connect, you must first register as a user by providing accurate, up-to-date, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. It is your responsibility to use reasonable measures to prevent any unauthorized access or use of RE Connect. If you become aware of any such unauthorized activity, you must immediately notify the Company.
Acceptable Use and Conduct
You are fully responsible for your conduct and for any data or content you register, upload, or provide through RE Connect. By using the platform, you warrant that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, authorizations, and consents to do so. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses that may arise from your actions or the use of the system by your employees, contractors, or agents, or from any breach of these Terms.
RE Connect and its associated software are provided for your personal use or for internal business operations. All use must comply with applicable laws, including data protection regulations, and must not infringe upon any third-party rights. The number of users permitted to access RE Connect is limited according to the subscription plan you have selected with the Company. Unauthorized use of RE Connect is a violation of these Terms and may result in legal action. While the Company strives to maintain uninterrupted access to RE Connect, availability may occasionally be affected by scheduled maintenance or unexpected technical issues.
Voucher Redemption
Vouchers redeemed through the RE Connect app are issued solely as a reward for accumulated Green Points. The reward is limited to the voucher itself. Any additional charges, fees, taxes, or costs incurred during the use or redemption of the voucher on third-party platforms are the sole responsibility of the user. RE Connect shall not be held liable for any additional charges or disputes arising between the user and the third-party service provider.
Cancellation and Termination
You are responsible for properly cancelling your account via the subscription settings within RE Connect. Upon confirmation, cancellation will take immediate effect, and no refunds will be issued for the unused buy-back wallet or any green points in the account. Any informal request for cancellation outside the designated platform will not be considered valid.
Once your account is cancelled or terminated, your data will be permanently deleted after a period of ninety (90) days and will not be recoverable. It is your responsibility to export any necessary data before cancelling or terminating your account. The Company bears no responsibility for data loss following account termination.
The Company retains the sole discretion to cancel or terminate your account at any time for any reason. This includes refusing access to any current or future use of RE Connect by you or your organization.
No Warranties or Representations
The Company, along with its officers, directors, agents, and affiliated companies, makes no warranties or representations—express or implied—regarding your use of RE Connect. You bear full responsibility for all data uploaded to or processed through the platform and for your use of the system.
The Company is not responsible for delays, delivery failures, data loss, or other damages arising from issues within the internet or communications infrastructure. You acknowledge that limitations, delays, and potential disruptions may occur during your use of RE Connect.
Intellectual Property
You acknowledge that all rights, title, and interest in and to RE Connect, including intellectual property rights, are owned by the Company. These rights are protected under Malaysian and international laws. Except as permitted by applicable law, you agree not to copy, modify, reproduce, or create derivative works from RE Connect without the Company’s express written consent.
Usage of Data
By using RE Connect, you agree and consent to the transfer of your data to third-party providers, including IT support, hosting, backup, and other service providers as necessary to maintain the platform’s functionality and availability.
General Provisions
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms of Use to any other person or entity. The Company will not be held responsible for system failures, bugs, or performance issues. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of RE Connect following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts in the event of any dispute.
